Chief Operating Officer
Job Description
This is a pivotal hire for CloudlyIO. As Chief Operating Officer, you will be the operating architecture of the business: the person who takes the CEO's vision and builds the systems, structures, teams, and rhythms that turn it into consistent execution at scale. You will own everything that keeps the company running and growing: cross-functional operations, delivery excellence, people and talent operations, customer success, financial discipline, and the operational foundations that support our four AI solution areas as they expand into global enterprise markets. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage what already exists. CloudlyIO is at an inflection point, moving from a high-performing technology team into a scalable, AI-native enterprise. The right COO will be a builder: someone who can design operational systems that did not exist before, hire and develop the people to run them, and create a company that operates as intelligently as the products it builds. We are looking specifically for a leader who understands AI-native operations, not just how to run operations in a company that builds AI, but how to reimagine operational workflows, decision-making, and organizational design using AI as a core capability. If you have been waiting for the right moment to make that leap, this is it.
Job Requirement
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Company-Wide Execution
- Translate the CEO's strategic vision into operational plans, quarterly priorities, and measurable outcomes across every function of the business
- Design and implement the operational cadences, OKR frameworks, and performance management systems that keep the company aligned, accountable, and moving fast
- Own the company's operating model, continuously improving how decisions are made, how work gets done, and how teams collaborate across Dhaka and US-based operations
- Chair weekly leadership team meetings, drive cross-functional alignment, and remove blockers that slow execution
- Lead the transformation of CloudlyIO's internal operations using AI tools, automation, and intelligent workflows across finance, HR, customer success, sales operations, and delivery
- Build internal AI adoption as a genuine operational advantage: CloudlyIO should operate as a living demonstration of what AI-native operations looks like in a fast-scaling enterprise technology company
- Evaluate, deploy, and govern AI tools across business functions in close collaboration with engineering and product leadership
- Establish frameworks for responsible, effective internal AI use that become part of the company's culture and competitive identity
- Partner with HR leadership to build the talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, and retention systems that support rapid, high-quality hiring across all functions
- Build and sustain a high-performance culture rooted in ownership, continuous learning, and mission alignment
- Develop the next tier of operational and functional leaders within the organization
- Ensure CloudlyIO's values and operating principles scale as the team grows
- Work alongside Sales and Business Development to build the operational infrastructure behind pipeline management, deal execution, and revenue forecasting
- Own customer success operations, ensuring enterprise customers are onboarded well, retain, and expand
- Build the systems and processes that allow CloudlyIO to deliver consistent, measurable outcomes for customers across all four solution areas
- Oversee partner and alliance operations in coordination with strategic partners including AWS, Google, and NVIDIA
- Own operational financial management in partnership with Finance, including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and cost discipline
- Drive operational efficiency and margin improvement without sacrificing quality or speed
- Ensure the business has the infrastructure, tooling, and processes to support confident decision-making at every level
- Oversee the operational delivery of CloudlyIO's AI solutions to enterprise customers, ensuring projects are scoped, staffed, and executed with consistency and quality
- Build program management capability and delivery standards across the organization
- Identify and resolve systemic delivery risks before they become customer problems
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE
- 12 to 18 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 4 years in a senior operational leadership role at a technology, SaaS, or AI company
- A proven track record of scaling operations in a fast-growing technology business, from early-stage through significant organizational expansion
- Deep familiarity with AI tools, AI-native workflows, and the genuine ability to reimagine how operations work when AI is a first-class capability rather than an add-on
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams across multiple geographies, including experience managing US and South/Southeast Asian teams simultaneously
- Strong financial acumen: you understand unit economics, can read a P&L with confidence, and make resource allocation decisions that are both commercially disciplined and strategically sound
- Experience building and operating the full revenue operations stack including sales operations, customer success, and post-sale delivery
- Exceptional communication and influence skills: you can align a leadership team, present to a board, and motivate a 200-person organization with equal effectiveness
- A builder's mindset: you are energized by the absence of existing systems, not intimidated by it, and you build things that outlast your direct involvement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as COO, VP of Operations, or equivalent at a B2B AI, SaaS, or enterprise technology company
- Background in one or more of CloudlyIO's core verticals: telecommunications, healthcare, or industrial operations
- Experience working with or within companies partnered with AWS, Google Cloud, or NVIDIA at a go-to-market or operational level
- Exposure to enterprise AI procurement cycles and the operational complexity of selling and delivering to regulated industries
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree; a technical undergraduate background is a meaningful advantage
- Experience operating across Bangladesh, South Asia, and US markets simultaneously
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
This is not a steady-state operations management position. If you are looking for a well-defined org chart, established processes to steward, and a company that already knows how it operates, this is not the right fit. This is a role for a builder and a leader who is ready to step into significant ambiguity, make consequential decisions with incomplete information, and create the operational company that matches the quality of technology CloudlyIO has already built.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Performance-based commission structure: your earnings scale directly with your results
- Two annual festive bonuses, each equivalent to half a month's salary

- Fully subsidized lunch and evening snacks, plus tea and coffee throughout the day
- Direct collaboration with US clients and teams, with real exposure to global enterprise AI deals from day one
