Job Description
The Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for designing and leading end-to-end cloud architecture solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments Cloud Solution Architect JD. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and cost-optimized infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, and modern cloud-native practices
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
● Design end-to-end cloud architecture solutions for enterprise clients across AWS, Azure,
and GCP platforms
● Lead architectural reviews and ensure adherence to cloud best practices and security
standards
● Design scalable, highly available, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructures supporting
mission-critical applications
● Create and maintain architecture documentation, design patterns, and reference
architectures
● Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM
Templates
● Design multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures ensuring seamless integration
● Establish cloud governance frameworks including security policies, compliance
standards, and cost management
● Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud architecture
principles
● Conduct cloud architecture assessments and provide optimization recommendations
● Design disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity solutions
● Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tools, and technologies aligned with
organizational objectives
● Collaborate with security teams to implement Zero Trust Architecture, IAM policies, and
compliance controls
● Design and implement monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks
● Troubleshoot complex architectural issues and provide timely solutions
Job Requirement
5+ years of professional experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure
Strong hands-on experience with:
● AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, CloudFront, WAF, Route53,
DynamoDB)
● Azure (App Services, Functions, VNet, Application Gateway, API Management)
● GCP (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery)
● Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates)
● Container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, AKS, ECS, Fargate)
● Microservices architecture and serverless computing
Security & Compliance:
● IAM, KMS, WAF, SSL/TLS, Certificate Management
● Security frameworks (PCI DSS, GDPR, SOC2, HIPAA)
● Zero Trust Architecture, Defense-in-Depth
● SSO, OAuth2, SAML integration
Networking:
● VPC design, routing, subnetting, peering
● Load balancers (ALB/NLB/Application Gateway)
● VPN, DirectConnect, ExpressRoute
● DNS management (Route53, Azure DNS)
Databases:
● SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
● NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cosmos DB)
Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience working with AI tools to accelerate productivity
Nice-to-Have Skills
● Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP
Professional Cloud Architect)
● Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
● Knowledge of site reliability engineering (SRE) practices
● Experience with data analytics and big data platforms
● Familiarity with chaos engineering and resilience testing
● Experience working in agile or scrum-based environments
● Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
● Willingness to stay current with emerging cloud technologies
● High sense of ownership and accountability for architectural decisions
