Product Manager, CloudlyPulse
Job Description
As Product Manager for CloudlyPulse, you will own the roadmap for a platform that is used by operators making real-time decisions on active plant floors. Your customers live with the consequences of downtime, equipment failure, and operational errors in ways that are physical, financial, and sometimes dangerous. Understanding their world deeply is the foundation of every good product decision you will make in this role. You will work closely with plant engineers, operations managers, ML engineers, and solution engineers to build capabilities that give industrial teams genuine operational confidence: the ability to see clearly, control safely, diagnose quickly, and scale without disruption.
ABOUT CLOUDLYCARE
CloudlyPulse is an edge-first operational system built for brownfield industrial environments. It unifies real-time monitoring, deterministic control, alarm management, and configuration diagnostics in a single coherent interface, running close to the PLC without replacing existing control logic or disrupting plant floor operations. CloudlyPulse gives operators clear visibility into live process variables, equipment state, process flow mapping, and abnormal conditions, and enables safe, transparent control actions with full auditability.Job Requirement
- Own and maintain the CloudlyPulse product roadmap including monitoring capabilities, control interface improvements, alarm management features, configuration diagnostic tools, and edge deployment capabilities
- Conduct ongoing discovery with plant operations teams, maintenance engineers, plant managers, and OT/IT decision-makers to understand their operational workflows, downtime causes, and the specific gaps in their current control and monitoring tools
- Write precise, detailed product requirements for features that will be used in safety-relevant operational contexts, with full clarity on expected behavior, edge cases, and failure modes
- Define success metrics for CloudlyPulse features in operational terms that matter to customers: reduction in diagnostic time, reduction in unplanned downtime, operator adoption rates, and mean time to issue resolution
- Lead go-to-market planning for new CloudlyPulse capabilities in collaboration with marketing and sales, including demo environment development and customer-facing documentation
- Monitor developments in industrial automation, edge computing, and brownfield OT systems and bring relevant insights into roadmap decisions
- Maintain alignment across engineering, sales, and customer success on what CloudlyPulse is, what it is not, and what it will become
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE
- 2 to 4 years of product management experience at a B2B technology, industrial software, or operational technology company
- Genuine interest in industrial operations and the specific challenges of working with brownfield equipment in production environments
- Ability to build trusted relationships with operational technology stakeholders including plant engineers, maintenance teams, and operations directors who are often skeptical of software vendors
- Experience writing product requirements for systems that operate in real-time, safety-relevant contexts with real consequences for failure
- Strong analytical instincts and the ability to define meaningful operational success metrics
- Comfort working with ML and edge engineering teams on complex, technically constrained feature development
- Willingness to get close to the physical reality of what customers do: this may include on-site visits to industrial facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with industrial automation software, SCADA systems, HMI platforms, or operational technology products
- Familiarity with PLC programming concepts, industrial communication protocols, or OT/IT convergence challenges
- Experience in manufacturing, utilities, oil and gas, food and beverage, or similar industrial sectors
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards or operational risk frameworks
- Experience shipping edge-deployed or embedded software products
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
