Job Description
As Sales Executive for CloudlyMELT, you will sell into organizations running serious AI infrastructure: AI engineering teams, MLOps organizations, and the FinOps and infrastructure leaders who are watching GPU bills climb while utilization stays stubbornly low. Your buyers understand their infrastructure deeply and they will see through generic observability pitches immediately.You need to be able to walk into a conversation with a senior ML infrastructure engineer and make them feel like you genuinely understand why their current tools are insufficient for GPU-specific challenges. Then you need to translate that same problem into a cost and risk story that lands with the VP of Engineering or CIO who signs the contract.

CloudlyMELT is an AI-native GPU observability platform that correlates network, GPU, and application layers in a single view, reducing MTTR from hours to seconds. GPU underutilization averaging 15 to 25% in Kubernetes clusters means idle H100s burning over $500,000 per year per organization. Stragglers bottleneck distributed training jobs. Root cause is unknown in 60% of GPU incidents. CloudlyMELT solves this with ML-powered predictive failure detection, LLM-driven root cause analysis in plain English, cross-layer cost attribution, and multi-tenant fairness controls, all built on open standards with no vendor lock-in.Job Requirement
- Prospect, qualify, and own the full sales cycle for CloudlyMELT across AI engineering organizations, MLOps teams, and infrastructure leaders at organizations running significant GPU workloads on Kubernetes
- Build relationships across the technical and business buying committee including ML infrastructure leads, MLOps engineers, FinOps teams, and CTO or VP of Engineering level buyers
- Lead discovery conversations that surface real GPU cost waste, MTTR pain, straggler bottlenecks, and observability gaps that CloudlyMELT directly addresses with specific dollar figures where possible
- Work with Solution Engineers to run CloudlyMELT deployment pilots that demonstrate cross-layer correlation, predictive failure detection, and cost attribution in the customer's actual Kubernetes environment
- Develop and present proposals and commercial agreements that tie CloudlyMELT's value to measurable GPU utilization improvements and MTTR reduction
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline data in the CRM and meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Represent CloudlyIO at AI infrastructure, MLOps, and GPU computing events and communities
- Relay buyer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market observations to product and marketing teams
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE
- 2 to 3 years of B2B sales experience in technology, SaaS, infrastructure, observability, or AI/ML tooling
- Genuine familiarity with AI infrastructure concepts including GPU compute, Kubernetes, distributed training, and cloud cost management: you can have a technically grounded conversation without needing the Solution Engineer to translate
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with examples you can speak to specifically
- Ability to connect deeply technical infrastructure problems to the financial and operational business case that executive buyers need to approve
- Experience navigating multi-stakeholder technical sales cycles that involve both engineering evaluators and financial decision-makers
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce and a disciplined approach to pipeline management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Existing relationships within AI engineering, MLOps, or GPU infrastructure communities
- Experience selling observability, monitoring, or AIOps platforms
- Familiarity with competing tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Run:ai, or NVIDIA Base Command and their specific limitations for GPU observability
- Knowledge of FinOps practices and how organizations budget for and justify GPU infrastructure spend
- Experience with cloud partner ecosystems such as AWS, Google Cloud, or NVIDIA
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
