Job Description

As Sales Executive for CloudlyPulse, you will sell into manufacturing plants, industrial enterprises, and operations-heavy organizations where AI is still largely unproven and skepticism of new technology runs deep. Your buyers have been burned by solutions that promised to transform the plant floor and delivered dashboards that nobody used. Your job is to be different: technically credible, operationally grounded, and focused on real outcomes that plant managers and operations directors actually care about.The best CloudlyPulse deals will come from someone who can walk onto a plant floor, understand what they see, earn the trust of an experienced plant engineer, and build a business case that gets past the VP of Operations.

ABOUT CLOUDLYPULSE
CloudlyPulse is an edge-first operational system built for brownfield industrial environments. It unifies real-time monitoring, deterministic control, alarm management, and configuration diagnostics in a single coherent interface, running close to the PLC and working with the equipment already on the plant floor, without replacing existing control logic or disrupting operations. CloudlyPulse gives operators clear visibility, safe control, and faster diagnostics without the fragility and vendor lock-in of traditional SCADA or custom integration approaches.

Job Requirement

  • Prospect, qualify, and own the full sales cycle for CloudlyPulse across manufacturing plants, industrial enterprises, and operations-heavy organizations
  • Build relationships across the industrial buying committee including plant managers, operations directors, VP of Engineering, and OT/IT leaders
  • Lead discovery conversations that surface real downtime costs, diagnostic bottlenecks, and control visibility gaps that CloudlyPulse directly addresses
  • Work with Solution Engineers to scope and run deployment pilots that demonstrate CloudlyPulse's value in the customer's actual operational environment
  • Develop and present proposals and commercial agreements tailored to each organization's procurement process and operational priorities
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline data in the CRM and meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
  • Represent CloudlyIO at industrial automation events, manufacturing trade shows, and relevant industry forums
  • Relay buyer feedback, objections, and competitive intelligence to product and marketing teams
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE

  • 2 to 3 years of B2B sales experience in industrial automation, operational technology, manufacturing software, or enterprise technology sales into industrial organizations
  • Genuine understanding of plant floor operations and the specific frustrations of maintenance engineers and operations managers with current monitoring and control tools
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with examples you can speak to specifically
  • Ability to hold a credible conversation with a plant engineer about PLCs, SCADA limitations, and what real operational visibility would change
  • Experience navigating multi-stakeholder industrial procurement processes that involve operations, IT, and finance
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce and a disciplined approach to pipeline management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Existing relationships within manufacturing, utilities, oil and gas, food and beverage, or similar industrial sectors
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, SCADA platforms, or industrial automation vendors
  • Experience selling edge-deployed or OT-integrated software into brownfield environments
  • Knowledge of industrial procurement cycles and capex versus opex budget dynamics in manufacturing organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field
